A veteran Public Relations executive with over 15 years experience, Rachelle Schlosser has headed publicity departments at major record labels, including Sony and RCA, as well as served as Vice President at Rubenstein Public Relations, one of New York's most prestigious P.R. agencies. She has promoted artists ranging from Charlotte Church, The Chieftains, Michael Bolton, George Winston, Jim Brickman, Etta James and Cesaria Evora to Yo-Yo Ma, Evgeny Kissin, Leonard Bernstein and Denyce Graves. Hit soundtracks released under her tenure include Titanic and Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
A graduate of Brandeis University (double major in music and English, magna cum laude), Schlosser has run P.R. departments for Sony Classical (as Senior Director/Publicity) and RCA Victor Group (as Vice President/Publicity). She began her career at Atlantic Records in the rock promotions department, and also worked as a publicity consultant at independent label Telarc International. She then ran the promotion and publicity department at CD distributor/record label Koch International for four years, followed by four years as a Vice President specializing in mainstream entertainment accounts at Rubenstein Public Relations. Schlosser is a trained classical pianist.
